DIRECTOR

British, co-founder of Into Africa applying extensive experience and passion for travel in Southern Africa with a business background and an MBA from Cranfield.

Nick has overseen the growth and development of the business for more than 30 years and is excited by the team in place who have the opportunity and skill to take the business to new levels.

FRANCES WILSON

Managing Director – Leisure Department

Frances became a shareholder in 2019.  She completed her schooling and tourism studies in South Africa before traveling to London where she lived for 5 years promoting and selling the African continent.  She returned in 2004 and joined our team as a project manager in the groups and incentive department.  Over the years she has grown to now manage the Leisure department focusing on tour series, leisure groups and FIT market and general running of the business together with Alex, Nick and their team.

Alex Wrottesley

Managing Director – Business Events

Alex is a shareholder of Into Africa and she joined the team in 2012. Her passion for major events was sparked during a stint in London, where she worked on the 2010 FIFA World Cup and the London 2012 Olympic & Paralympic Games. On returning to her roots in South Africa, she rose from Project Manager to Head of the MICE department, specialising in large-scale events and conferences.

Elaine Matthee

FINANCIAL MANAGER

Elaine joined Into Africa in 2009. South African born, Elaine studied business management at the Cape Town University of Technology and spent some time in the retail food industry before moving into travel. Her business skills have allowed her to work in various aspects of the travel industry including contracting, leisure, incentives and accounts. With her excellent experience Elaine heads up our Financial Department.

Kerusha Mudaliar

ACCOUNTS ADMINISTRATOR

Kerusha studied bookkeeping at Varsity college. She moved to Cape Town from Durban in 2015, where her journey within the tourism sector began.  Kerusha joined our team in 2023.  Her diligence, accuracy and orderliness makes her a real asset to the accounts team.

Jen Wulff

SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

Jen began her professional journey in bookkeeping before discovering her passion for events. She studied Events Management in 2012 and moved into the travel industry. She built extensive experience in both small- and large-scale operations and ground handling, working as a supplier to the leisure and MICE sectors. In 2017, she transitioned into a dedicated MICE role as a Project Manager, where she continues to thrive in creating seamless and memorable experiences.  Jen joined our MICE team in 2022.

TASNEEM BEATON

SENIOR PROJECTS MANAGER

Tasneem graduated in 2015 with a Diploma in Event Management and transitioned into the tourism industry in 2017. Tasneem brings her background of event management across various sectors to our MICE team.  She has developed a passion for creating unique travel experiences. 

THERESA VOS

PROJECT MANAGER

Graduated with a B.SC.Oenology & Viticulture degree from the University of Stellenbosch in 2001. After several years working as a winemaker in South Africa, France and Chili, Theresa and her husband opened and successfully ran several restaurants in Stellenbosch and Cape Town. Furthermore, she founded and managed an event company that focused on event bar setups for music festival eg Oppikoppi and Ramfest. Theresa joined our MICE team in 2024.

NURAAAN ABRAHAMS

Leisure Groups Team Leader

Background in travel and tourism and financial bookkeeping. Nuraan joined the Into Africa team in 2015 after spending 8 years in the finance industry. Since then, she has focused on special interest, leisure group tour series travel, tailor-made group itineraries, as well as individual travel. She has also worked with our MICE team managing conferences and incentives across Zimbabwe, Zambia and Botswana

SUE WALKER

GROUPS CONSULTANT

Zimbabwe raised but a true South African at heart, Sue is an avid Springbok Supporter! She spent 8 years working and travelling abroad. She worked for Getaway magazine as the Assistant Production manager and the Events Co-Ordinator for the Johannesburg & Cape Town Getaway Shows for over 8 years. Sue joined our team in 2023.

Marele Labuschagne 

SENIOR TRAVEL CONSULTANT

Marele has a diploma in Travel and Tourism from the Cape Town University of Technology. After her studies Marele left South Africa and spent some time living in London where she started her career in the conferencing industry. Upon returning to South Africa, she pursued this industry for a few more years before using her extensive experience specializing in small groups and FIT’s visiting Southern Africa and East Africa.

Brigitte Cieslik

SENIOR TRAVEL CONSULTANT

Brigitte graduated with a diploma in Travel & Tourism in 1994.  She initially worked as an Outbound Retail Travel Consultant. In 2015 Brigitte started working as an Inbound Consultant specialising in the FIT department focusing on Southern African and East Africa.  She joined our team in 2022.

Lisa Cullen

SENIOR TRAVEL CONSULTANT

Lisa is South African born, but immigrated to Australia where she finished her schooling.  Lisa completed a diploma in Travel before returning to South Africa, where she worked for leisure travel agencies for a few years before moving to a position of Branch Manager at a car hire company. Since then, Lisa has enjoyed specialising in high-end FIT’s within the USA and UK markets. She can speak conversational German.

Karen Geyser

SENIOR TRAVEL CONSULTANT

Karen has a Diploma in Tourism & Marketing.  She first started working for Into Africa in 1998.  She has over 25 years practical experience in various areas of the tourism industry, working mainly with international direct clients, wholesalers & travel agents. Developing itineraries for clients and finding that special place for lasting memories and adding extra touches is her speciality.

HAYLEY FORTUIN

PRODUCT MANAGER

Hayley studied Travel & Tourism and has been in the industry since 1998.  Hayley’s experience is in various areas of the Travel Industry, including FIT, Leisure Groups, Incentives, Conferencing, Product, Travel Systems and Hospitality.  Hayley currently works as a Product Manager at Into Africa.

Jade Dumas

Assistant Travel Consultant

Jade graduated from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology in 2021 and she has an Advanced Diploma in Events Management. During her student years, Jade worked as an intern for a charitable organization to develop and gain valuable work experience in the events space. She was also on the SAACI Youth Council.  Joined our FIT department in 2022.

Sinazo Mbeje

FIT and Group Consultant

Sinazo studied Travel & Tourism and graduated in 2016.   Sinazo started her working career with an adventure tourism company.  Between 2022 and 2024 she progressed from being an Intermediate Travel Consultant and started working as a Travel Consultant for an Inbound Tour Operator before moving to Into Africa.  Her main focus has been FIT’s and Tour Series bookings.

REGMORE DAVIDS

Systems Administrator

Régmore graduated with a Diploma in Travel and Tourism Management from Cape Peninsula University of Technology in 2015. After spending six months in Dubai, she entered the industry in 2018. Most of her experience has been in Operations Administration and as an Operations Consultant.  Régmore joined our team in 2024.

LUCI BUCKLAND

Marketing Consultant

Luci has a B Soc Sci degree from UCT, she also studied Marketing and DTP through City Varsity. She produces marketing material for Into Africa and assists with Social Media.

Elsa Wony-Nsiloulou

ADMINISTRATOR

Elsa has recently graduated in Travel and Tourism and joined Into Africa in 2024 as an administrator.  We look forward to seeing her develop in her chosen career.
