South Africa is known worldwide for its rich biodiversity, mineral resources, cultural diversity, but also as a country with a strong agricultural sector.

It is no coincidence that large companies related to agriculture show a special interest in the techniques developed in South African soil. Based on the exchange of knowledge, and at the same time with a purpose as an incentive for employees and main customers, one of the leading companies in agrochemicals in Brazil came to South Africa last October, offering a trip to a team of 40 professionals (agents, scientist and staff of the company).

Into Africa was in charge of the logistics of the trip, which began in the Pilanesberg National Park. There the group stayed at Ivory Tree Lodge, where guests enjoyed two exciting game-viewing safaris in the National Park. The first night surprised everyone with a bush dinner in the middle of the National Park under a starry sky along with the intense sound of the drums of the Marimba band that welcomed the group to this unforgettable dinner. It was the perfect place for guests to socialise as many did not know each other.

The journey continued on to the nearby Sun City Resort. There the group stayed at the Sun City Hotel, which offers various conference facilities in house, which the Brazilian company used for their “Conferencing Day”.

Two nights in Sun City offered a special welcome dinner at Crocodile Lounge, with a band of percussion that received the guests followed by exquisite dishes that delighted the palate of the most demanding. But to talk of eccentricity, the dinner at Crystal Court Restaurant at The Palace Hotel, was undoubtedly the most amazing of the trip. Guests were stunned by the wonderful space in which the restaurant is located, along with a refined menu that combines international cuisine with delicate African game meat. Dinning at Crystal Court surprised everyone!

From Sun City the group was taken on a field trip in the Koster area, where the company provides services at numerous farms.

The trip concluded in Cape Town, where the group toured the many highlights of this unique city, as well as visiting the site of the company’s deposits in Paarl (Cape Winelands region).

South Africa certainly amazed the group, provided an enriching experience from the professional point of view, and will undoubtedly remain in the memories of each participant. Many guests are already planning their return, this time however, on a well-deserved family vacation!
